Background & Experience
Dr. Claudine Hyatt is a Jamaican national and Fulbright Scholar with over two decades of experience as a therapist. She began her career as a school counsellor in the Jamaican Education System before becoming a senior psychology lecturer and later director of a psychotherapy clinic at one of Jamaica’s top colleges. She went on to serve as Head of the Mental Health Department at Raffles Medical Group in Beijing and is now a salaried partner at CALM International.
She has taught at universities in the USA and Jamaica, focusing on psychology, assessment, trauma recovery, anxiety disorders, and personality development. Dr. Claudine has also worked extensively with international schools across Asia, China, and the Caribbean, delivering trauma recovery, crisis intervention, mental health training, and psychoeducational assessments, including support for International Baccalaureate (IB) examinations.
Beyond education, she has designed and facilitated workshops for Fortune 500 companies, embassies, the World Health Organization, and other international organisations.
